- Two new Homeworkers have been added to Case Studies of Homeworkers. They are Mike Malley who is an Entertainment Manager (take a peek at his web site to see who he manages!) and Sue Wentworth-Sheilds who is a Network Marketer.
- Homeworking.com are pleased to welcome our new resident Multi Level Marketing expert Sue Wentworth-Sheilds who has revamped our page on MLM. Sue explains what is involved in MLM, how it works, who it would suit and some examples. Watch out for more on the subject.
- There is now a search engine for US telecommuting jobs on our Jobs page. There are still more search engines to be added shortly.
- The Web Designer is new on our Case Studies of Homeworkers and when you have finished reading about her, check out the official Rolf Harris site, which she designed, for a bit of light refreshment!

- The award winners of the European Telework Week have been announced. Did your country win an award?
- Two more articles have been added to our excellent debt section: Should I Ask for a Loan from My Family to Pay Off My Debts?; and the controversial subject Credit Repair – Fact or Myth?

- As part of service to more established homeworkers and SoHo businesses we have kicked off our Review of Resources for the Small Business with a great discount on a cash flow management program for the non-financial manager.

- Three more articles have been added to our valuable debt section: What to Expect from Creditors; What the Creditor Will Expect from a Debtor; and Should I Take Out a Loan to Repay My Debts. The debt section has now been re-organised and each article has a page of its own to make it easier to get around.
- The Window Cleaner has been added to our Case Studies of Homeworkers.
- Our Family page now has a link to the excellent Homeworking Parents newsletter. Their approach is refreshing and they are dedicated to the work and parenting issues of Home Working parents.
- This has actually been a busy week in the background, but we have added more Case Studies of Homeworkers and little snippets have been added here and there on the site. Sorry, not very helpful!

- Links on all the pages have been checked and updated.
- Colin Duguid, our debt specialist, has been taking us through sorting out our debts (if we have them, and if not, it is vital knowledge to be aware of) on the debt page. We have now added How much do I offer my creditors which includes a clever little calculation and a sample letter to use.
- 1-8 November 1999 is European Telework Week. More about this on our Events page.

- To get an idea of what it is like to be a homeworker we have interviewed a few and the first two Case Studies of Homeworkers looks at "The Writer" and "The Web Publisher". Several more case studies will be added in the next few days and we may be in for a surprise or two!
- Regular visitors may notice that the Quickie Poll has been adjusted so that you can now vote more than once. We have a lot of visitors who visit just the once or twice and of course they outnumber the regulars. The poll is only for fun but do vote each time you visit!
- The Homeworking For All WebRing now has five sites. Hooray!
- Case Studies of Scams has been added with grateful thanks to the Internet Homeworking Directory for letting us use them.
- A new page has been added to help homework seekers to focus their minds on the type of homeworking they are after with a suggested plan of action.
- Continuing our excellent series on debt, there are two more articles: Facing up to Debts and Creditors; and Completing an Income and Expenditure Statement. There is even a form that you can print out but we will soon have an on-line form which will add up the totals for you!
- This last week has also seen the launch of the new "Homeworking For All WebRing". Links at the bottom of the Home Page lead to other excellent scam -free sites providing information, resources or products to homeworkers. New member sites are welcomed.
- Also new this week has been the 'just for fun' quickie readers' poll. It is anonymous and quick. Even though readers can only vote once, it is possible to check the results each time you visit. At the moment we are taking a brief look at the reasons visitors come here and soon we will look at other polls, such as homeworking job titles. Any suggestions welcomed to our usual email address!
- Two new topics Who should you pay first and What action to take with a threatening or harassing creditor have been added to the Debt page.

- Soapbox is a brand new section. It came about as a result of contact with one of the advertisers on this site who sounded off about unscrupulous activities on the internet. A passion like that has to be aired, so here we are.
- Debt is often the reason behind the search for the quick mega-buck. The credit specialist Colin Duguid has started off with the topics "Decide whether working from home is the answer to debt" and "Take immediate action to secure yourself and your family from creditors". More information and advice will be added over the next few weeks.

- Forum for homeworkers is now live. Join in the discussion, add your bit and ask questions of other homeworkers.

- Teleworking is a new page collecting together information and links for employees and employers. The UK government has just launched its new tax credit information on their website. A link to this is found on our Tax Credit page.
- After a long summer break with only minor activity the site is now active again and has had it's design streamlined to speed up access.
- "Make Money Fast" (MMF) schemes have been getting a lot of coverage lately. Two great sites: The MMF Hall of Humiliation and the MMF Myth Page are both featured on our Scams page.
- Comparison of homeworker insurance policies shows a sample calculation for home buildings and contents insurance with additional benefits for homeworkers.
- New classifieds page featuring Products and Services for homeworkers.
- Jobs Offered and Jobs Wanted are experimental categories with the aim to provide a quality resource for genuine homeworking opportunities rather than dubious adverts for schemes or scams that people may have seen in the past.
- Ordering an advertisement couldn't be easier. Check out our Rate Card for our reasonable prices.
- Associate membership of Amazon.com and Amazon.de allows more world-wide visitors to get copies of some of the books featured in Books Reviewed.
- Search engine added to home page to make it easier to find the information you are looking for.
- National Minimum Wage - new information page
- Homeworking Organisations - extra information about UK organisations
- Book Page - New books on Marketing Plans, Planning a Project and two books on debt advice added.
- Homeworking.com is revamped with an easier to use format.
- Background development work carried out on the site. Research into aspects of homeworking such as support organisations and unscrupulous money-making scams.
- The international web address homeworking.com has been secured with a view to providing country specific information. The site will retain its UK focus and can be accessed via www.homeworking.co.uk or www.homeworking.com
- Supplementary information page "Tax Credits" about some of the UK Government's latest budget proposals for the low-paid, families and the over-50s. Proposals for a new Small Business Service (not starting until April 2001) are also announced.
- Review of the magazines: All about Working From Home; SoHo life; and Computeractive added to the new Magazines page. Other publications will be added and updated for each issue.
- Layout and menus of all pages improved for ease of use.
- Lists of business ideas added to What?
- 101 Ways to Start Your Own Business by Christine Ingham and Start Your Own Business in 30 Days by Gary Joseph Grappo are reviewed and added to Books.
- Book page added in association with Amazon.co.uk. This is the place to look for the best of books covering all aspects of homeworking with the opportunity to buy on-line from a secure server.
