I was made redundant from my last full time role and we used the cheque from that to start properly. |

How do you cope with distractions at home? |
| A |
I am highly focused and work to a stringent work plan and list of things to do. It makes me feel that I am getting somewhere crossing things off lists! |

How do you manage your time? |
| A |
Using a list and diarise slots to carry out particular things. I do a couple of small things usually in the morning to get the brain working then try and stick to my routine.

How do you cope with the isolation of working at home? |

I get out quite a bit to visit clients up town and if I feel a bit down I get on the phone. |

What two pieces of advice would you suggest to someone considering working from home? |
| A |
Make sure you have at least 3 months salary behind you to cover costs just incase. Get friends and family to understand that you may be at home but you are working and they can't just pop round when ever they feel like it. |

In times of frustration and disappointment just remember to plough on, we all take knock backs. Have a business plan which will allow you to target yourself and help you focus on what is working and what isn't. |
