Using Belief for Success    By C. Derrick
  • If you are already well into multi-level marketing, you will be familiar with this phrase. The power of belief can work incredible events for some people. But how can believing in something or someone, cause things to happen?

  • It is emotion-based. In some strange way, the more you fervently believe something, the more emotion you heap upon your belief, the more likely it will make events manifest in your life. Someone who believes with immense depth, intense feeling, that they are going to own a top-class sports car, almost always achieves that goal at some stage in their belief-activity. I say "almost always" because a great deal depends on the (a) the nature of the goal and (b) the intensity and the emotional involvement emanating from the person.

  • It is as if the emotion acts like a magnet; drawing towards the person a series of events and happenings that eventually bring about the ownership of the desired sports car. One event may be a car competition, offering the very model desired. The believer goes out one morning to collect his or her newspaper and lo and behold, in the centre spread is a competition. How can they resist placing an entry?!

  • Another, less spectacular series of happenings may be spread over several months; even a couple of years. Gradually the sports-car person sees extra money coming into their life, through various sources. There may be a wind-fall, or a cash prize. Perhaps a stock market investment suddenly springs into life and provides extra money. Or maybe a pay-rise. All these smaller events will gradually build and lock together, until one day the believer walks into the car show-room, armed with money and claims the sports-car so long awaited.

  • It seems crazy that a material object can be obtained simply by thinking about it. However, the secret is in the way you think about it; the intensity, the emotion. These are the key issues. You must, on a daily basis, give your thoughts to that desired object (or situation); get excited about it; reach out and touch it. Imagine how the object feels to you. If it is a situation, then live that situation in your mind's eye. The whole exercise demands an increase in sensitivity and awareness. This can be hard at first, especially if you are a person given over to heavy socialising, fast life-styles and never having time to hardly breathe before the next social whirl is upon you. You must take time out, aside from the daily hustle, to give your thoughts over to the thing or things you most want.
