hi everyone, first time poster, long time reader as the saying goes, well been reading for a few days anyway! I was about 30 mins away from posting off the CRS check for 'jobs for drivers' when I stumbled across this site and boy, am I glad I did. I had delayed sending off the CRS check as my car had failed its MOT for the first time and I wanted it repaired before I sent the money off. I have had no luck in contacting these people. I have e mailed several times with no answer and the one day I phoned, I got the engaged signal virtually all day, so my money is staying put in my account for now. thanks for everyones input into 'jobs for drivers' posts. most useful. I have several questions if I may too. has anyone heard of optimum contact? it is a mystery shopper organisation. I have also come across this site as well www.homebusinessprogram.co.uk. it seems too good to be true, earn £525 per week, forwarding on e mails and letters. I don't fully understand the set up so I might have this wrong, anyone come across it before? thanks in anticipation, and well done on such a good site. |

Welcome to the site Misiats. To check out the site your mention just do a search for the name WEBCROM and add SCAM to your search query. I think you'll find they have had a recent name change. You could do that on this site or on Google. Personally I would STAY WELL AWAY. |

Misiats, first of all welcome to homeworking.com. You ask about two companies. I would assume from your enquiry that you have not been involved in mystery shopping to date, or you would most certainly have heard of Optimum Contact. This is one of the better agencies, but on the other hand they do expect a high standard of reporting back. If you are new to the business then joining Optimum may well spoil you for other companies who do not aim for the same sort of standards nor pay the same level of fees. You may well find that they require shoppers who have some experience, though. Now, homebusinessprogram.co.uk is rather a different kettle of fish. As Axeman has already said, this is yet another reincarnation of a firm which comes and goes, each time with a new name. Each appearance will promise riches almost beyond belief for doing not very much. the only ones who get rich are the people behind these scams. Why not spend some time browsing through this forum and seeing what others do, then deciding what you want to do. You can then contact somebody direct who is already in that line of business and they will almost certainly help you get started. Good luck. Ken Home Business Specialist Homeworking.com

thank you axeman and kenweston. I have not been involved with mystery shopping so far, optimum contact has already accepted my registration, again, I applied before I found this site. apparently I am waiting for my first job and the welcome pack that comes with it. My background is retail and I am a director of an independant health shop at the moment, but I do not work in it. I will certainly do as you suggest and trawl through the many topics on here. I do need to work from home and flexibly as my ex partner although not the main carer of our son does muck around a lot as to when she can have him for a day or 2. he is only 3 so not in school which is why I find it near impossible to find work and money is tight. this is a great site, found out more from here in a couple of days than I have in months of searching other places. thanks misi |

I think you'll find a few health product type companies on this site if that's your forte or preference. Just click on the name of each person to get their profiles and website links. Good Luck |
