Hello Guys
I am new to this Forum and I really need some help please.
I am trying to look for a way to make some extra money. I currently work full time in an office so I am looking for something that I can do in the evening and at weekends. Unfortunately, I have a back condition which stops me from working in a bar/restaurant as I am in absolute agony standing on my feet for more than 10 mins. I did try and get a job in a bar a few weeks ago (god knows why because I knew my back couldn't take it) and ended up in hospital and have been in agony since, needless to say I quit that day.

So I have been researching jobs I could do from home, particularly data entry but I just keep getting met with scams. I feel like I am banging my head against a brickwall. I am a speedy and accurate typist and all I want to do is earn some extra money from a legitimate source.

Any help or advice would be very very much appreciated please.

Thanks guys!

I know this will not be of any help to you Laurenclaire sorry, but I am in an almost identical situation to you so rather than post almost the same I too would value any advise on working from home without getting scammed Many thanks in anticipation and lets hope we will both be earning in the near future without causing us any undue pain!

Welcome to both of you!

Typing skills are fine, but you need to know what you wish to do with them. Do you know a second language? You could offer translation services. Do you know how to use spreadsheet tools? Perhaps you could offer data processing services. Are you able to wend your way through the intricacies of American or British English? You might be able to write content for webmasters to use in preparing web sites.

Give it a think and take a look around the Forum to see what others are asking. You'd be surprised with the leads you can generate just by reading through some of the threads here.

Laurenclaire, please accept my apologies for the delay in welcoming you to the Forum. The moderators were participating in administrative meetings last week and had to be away from the Forum.

I hope I have helped just a bit and if you need to explore on a more individual basis, please feel free to send me a Private Message with your concerns.

Best regards,
Julie

Thanks b2b for your response I like the idea of writing but it is just finding the right avenues and leads without getting scammed. I do not have another language so translating would be out. I will take your advise and peruse the forums and hopefully that will lead me in the right direction.
