I looked it up on the web. If this guy is really a proud millionare (and a pushy jerk as well, as he says he is), then why hasnt he given his real name? Why doesnt he have any real contact details? Why has he hidden the registration details for his website? He says he's a Rich Jerk - as far as rich goes, I say 'prove it'. He says he has built and sold websites worth millions - but he can't show you a single one (because he's sold them.) What, he's sold them ALL? He's not even building one at the moment? Very odd. Then he boasts about Google this and that, yet his home page for this 'opportunity' has a google rating of 0/10 - thats zero. He hasnt used his 'skills' to bump up the site at all. His site didnt even turn up on a google search, I had to go to another site that was selling his e-book and copy the url off the front of the e-book - it wasn't even linked. Maybe, just maybe he has some real information there, probably about selling e-books, but its your risk. Cheryl Forum Specialist Homeworking.com

So confident is this person that he/she doesn't even give a full name on profile, suggesting that this might not be as wonderful as it sounds. Ken Home Business Specialist Homeworking.com

I have heard something about this - the fragrances they are selling are copies of original perfumes, but they are using their real names, not necessarily on the bottle, but in literature. A colleague of mine has been told by this company that it is now perfectly legal to do this. The last company that sold copy perfumes as L'Arome/Echoes, and they ended up going down the drain! They never used the names of the orginal perfumes in their literature or on the bottles or boxes but distributors were told what they were copies of, and told customers. I think they eventually fell foul of trading laws because of this. I would be interested to know if anyone knows that the rules have changed? Personally, I would not risk any money on something like this. Stick with a REAL, solid business opportunity! Angie |

Hi Angie Yes, they have been told by their lawyer that is is ok. Whether they are right or not I don't know, I hope they are. I'm not involved or getting involved in FM but I do know the person who is setting up the UK and their understanding of networking is as good as yours or mine, or anyone else on this forum. The post on this forum by Surfmis was clearly advertising and against the rules, but I have to say it is good to see a pure perfume network back in the UK and wish FM all the best. Roy |

My understanding of the law on this is that anybody selling a product which is designed to be a copy of another is infringing the rights of the original manufacturer or seller of that product, and that is actionalble through the Courts. If you are part of a MLM set up marketing copies of another firm's product then you are just as liable as the company supplying you. Leave copies well alone. You can land yourself in serious financial and legal trouble, and you will probably have no defence. It's worth remembeering, too, that any reputable company will be happy to sell it's own product. I can't imagine either Avon or Oriflame (the two companies mentioned in your profiles) selling copies of someone else's product. They have products of their own to market, and to be sure they have sufficient confidence in those products to not need to even consider plagiarising. Ken Home Business Specialist Homeworking.com

I know of several people who have been approached about this. My thoughts are that it is better to stay with an established andreputable company, rather than risk everything with this one. They seem to be targeting people in the beauty business though, so if you are, expect an email or phone call! Angie |
